Niagara Falls has all the fun.
August 11-12 they’ll be hosting the International Rocket Belt Convention at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station in beautiful Niagara Falls New York (Honeymoon Capitol of the World!).
You heard me.
Rocket. Belts.
Yeah. Like in Thunderball.
But…you know…real ones.
What I’m saying is…MEN WITH ROCKET BELTS ARE GOING TO BE FLYING AROUND NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK.
The Rock Belt — which has come to be a sort of general term for one of many inventions that allows you to TAKE OFF AND FLY THROUGH THE AIR THROUGH WEARING A JET PROPULSION UNIT — is like the cooler, more dangerous sister of the flying car. It’s what the motorcycle is to the automobile. It is also an idea of the future that became the past. We dream of owning rocket belts like they don’t exist — and they had working units in the 1960s.
Why, oh why, can’t I be a reporter in Niagara Falls this month?
